Shihan Chuck was one of my first martial arts instructors. He is very patient and explains very well, which makes him perfect for a beginner. As I progressed, I was able to understand more details about what he was teaching. Shihan Chuck explains the movements and applications to ensure that all levels of his students have good fundamentals and understand not just the "how" but also the "why." At the more advanced levels, he’s fun to work with when trading techniques. Shihan Chuck definitely helped me grow as a martial artist. And I love his two-person self-defense forms.

He demonstrated an ability to teach with precision while taking into account of my own personal goals and abilities.
